For our longstanding client's Best of the Best gala awards and dinner, Rebel Playground created a surreal, mythical landscape a world away from the Gold Coast setting where it was held. 

We designed the venue around three distinct scenic environments: journeying through Ultramarine Valley, over the Cloud Mountains, and into Pink Paradise. These environments elevated the blank canvas event space and captured guests' imaginations, taking them on a journey. Inspired by the breathtaking scenery in Avatar, custom motion graphics projected on screens around the room featured lush tropical forest visuals in emerald greens and deep blue tones. 

Festivities began with an Honour Roll cast across oversized LED screens to a dramatic cinematic score. Throughout the night, guests were treated to acrobatic and aerial performances by a quirky cast of characters, the comedy chops of Claire Hooper, and the mesmerising vocal talent of Sheldon Riley. Lauded Aussie act and ARIA Award-winning band, Sheppard filled up the dancefloor and closed out the evening with a heart-stopping gig that sent pulses racing.
